Rev. Jean Osée Lilite has been the Senior Pastor since September 16, 2001. Jean and his wife, Jodèle, have three daughters, Jodie, Johana and Joska. Besides addressing God's people on Sunday mornings, Jean speaks teaches Tuesday Night Bible Study, leads the Men's Choir, prepares Sunday School lessons, and oversees the church in its mission. Jodèle serves as a Sunday school teacher and encourages her husband in the ministry.
The second Child of a family of six Children, Jean accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior when he was six years old on June 10, 1970 during a family devotion which was held at around 5:00 p.m. Soon he started sharing the good news of the gospel of Christ to his peers and some adults. He started to teach Children classes in Sunday School at the age of eight, got baptized through immersion on December 31, 1977, and became a youth leader ministering with the Brigade Chrétienne et Lumière d'Haiti (BCLH) at Eglise Baptiste de Bolosse in Haiti. He came to America in 1987 as a Missionary for a year through Teen Missions International. When he went back to Haiti in 1988, he became the Executive Secretary of the Association Nationale des Ecoles Chrétiennes d'Haïti (ANECH), an organisation affiliated with the Association of Christian School International (ACSI). He then served as the Coordinator of Christian Education for the Union Evangelique Baptist d'Haiti (UEBH) as well as the Pastor of Eglise Baptiste de Lamothe in Montagne Noire, Pétion-Ville, Haiti.
Jean met his wife Jodèle at Maranatha Evangelical High School in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Jean graduated from the Séminaire de Théologie Evangélique de Port-au-Prince (STEP), and completed a degree in Education at Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He took several classes at Centre de Recherches en Éducation, Formation et Instruction (CREFI), et au Centre d'Études Diplomatiques et Internationales in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He also completed a Master of Arts in Theology and in Biblical Exegesis from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois.
Jean hopes to impact as many people as possible through his teaching, his life and his Christian love.
